Not too late to get involved in the Maritzburg City Marathon

With the Witness Medihelp Maritzburg City Marathon set to take place on Sunday, organisers have said that an opportunity is at hand for those who missed the early entries to the Maritzburg City Marathon to register.
Organiser, John Hall, said there was still a back door to make sure that everyone is part of this amazing experience.
Hall said the event is powered by Clover, and Khayelihle.

During the event on Sunday, the following roads will be closed to traffic.
• Langalibalele Street at Chief Albert Luthuli, between 5 am and 10 am.
•Chief Albert Luthuli Street between Church Street and Burger Street, between 5 am and 10 am.
•Surrey Road between Woodhouse Road and New England Road, between 3 am and 10 am.
•New England Road between King Edward and Surrey Road, between 3 am and 6 am.
•Alexandra Road between College Road and Lindup Road, between 3 am and 11 am.
•Ridge Road and Harwin Road between 5 am and 11 am.
•College Road and Oribi Road will be limited to city-bound traffic only for the duration of the marathon.
•Jabu Ndlovu will be open to traffic and motorists are advised to travel slowly.

•Residents in the affected areas will be afforded access, but may experience delays of a few minutes.
