A resident of France township has raised concerns after his house was broken into more than 8 times, but the police have not done anything about it.
Justice Zakwe from phase 5 said it was clear that the people repeatedly breaking into his home were working together with someone from inside the police.
Zakwe said his home was first broken into in June last year, where the robbers took his money and all electrical appliances.
He said after opening a case at Alexandra road police station, the police did not come back to him until he was eventually informed by people near his home as to who had stolen from him.
The man said he reported their names to the police who subsequently found the stolen items in the suspect’s possession.
However, to the man’s surprise, he found out that the case was cleared allegedly due to lack of evidence.
After opening more than one case to no assistance, the man said he has lost all hope in the police.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Thulani Zwane, said if the victim is not happy with the service from a police station, then he should report the matter to the station Commander.
