CHAOS erupted outside the PMB City Hall today when ANC Youth League members clashed with those participating in an anti-Zuma march.
There were two anti-Zuma pickets held at either side of the City Hall but the protests had to be called off prematurely when ANCYL members arrived.
Matters threatened to turn ugly as Youth League members faced off against demonstrators from the DA and civil rights organisations.
Anti-Zuma demonstrators were demanding the resignation of President Jacob Zuma while the ANCYL members sang and chanted slogans that were in support of Zuma.

Youth League members had gathered as early as 6 am on Langalibalele Street as part of their traffic mob in support of the recent cabinet reshuffle and radical land and economic transformation.
The other picket organised by the Black Economic Foundation was also called off.

Youth League members continued to sing behind the City Hall even after the anti-Zuma demonstrators had dispersed.
