TWO Pietermaritzburg businessmen have started an initiative to fight the rising tide of violence against women.
With reports of murder and rape of young women dominating the headlines in recent weeks across the country, director of Black Rock Management and chairperson of Msunduzi Pietermaritzburg Tourism Association, Lwazi Nsele, and Skhumbuzo Dlamini of Sikhebhe-Kamhloli Trading and Projects, are set to revive the spirit of Ubuntu, by addressing this issue.
The two have organised a dialogue to discourse around issues such as child protection, gender violence and drug abuse.
The dialogue will be held on June 13, at the KwaZulu-Natal Museum.
Nsele said through the initiative, they want to say enough is enough and to send a clear message that as men they are against the abuse and killing of women.
Dlamini said the main issue was that young men grow up without role models in their communities.

For more information, contact Nsele on 076 043 8169 or Dlamini on 078 287 3763.
